Gstaad, Switzerland – At the ATP tournament on the clay courts of Gstaad, the first player to book their place in the final on the Swiss clay was Brazil’s Thomaz Bellucci, who came through the match after two tiebreaks against Grigor Dimitrov.

The Brazilian player started very well, ripping the ball ruthlessly against his rival in the opening game, only to gift the break back in the second game. The two then battled until the tiebreaker, to which both players found themselves without any problems during their service games. Eventually it was Bellucci who closed out the tiebreak 7 points to 3.

In the first game of the second set it was Dimitrov who took the edge to begin with and break, only to find themselves back on serve again at 2/2. After the initial exchange of breaks, the two faced another tiebreaker, which was won again by Bellucci, this time to 7 points to 5.

In the second semi-final Janko Tipsarevic was victorious against Paul-Henri Mathieu 7-6. 6-3. In the first game it was the Serbian who secured the first break in the second game, but could not consolidate resulting in a gruelling first set tiebreak, which Tipsarevic won 12 points to 10 after a long struggle.

Tipsarevic controlled the second set with ease, which saw him break to go up 4-2 before closing out the match 6-3 in the second set.
